Latest Dania Denise Model Feature: "I'm Just Saying" by seanALIAN

It doesn't take long for me to start getting busy with modeling projects! Below is the latest site that I've been a featured model on. The blog "I'm Just Saying" was created by seanALIAN, a full time hair stylist and makeup artist. I was very fortunate enough to be the first featured model on his blog for the month of July. Hi, Dania! I was not sure where to post my question, so I thought doing so on the most recent article would be appropriate! :)

I am fifteen years old, skinny, blue eyes, dirty blonde hair, short etc.
I have been told by many people that I should pursue modeling, but I'm sure many people hear that...how do you know if you have what it takes? Could you post a few pictures of you when you were closer to my age? I would like to see what some starting poses look like. How can you test yourself in home taken pictures to see if you have what it takes? Thank you so much for reading my comment!

hi dania i have a random question would you please explain how to take my bust, waist and hip measurements. I'm especially confused on how to take waist measurements do I measure at my belly button or above it because if i measure at my belly button then i'm 29.5inches and if i measure above my belly button them i'm 26.5 inches so could you please clarify how to properly take these measurements.

Hi! I am a commercial model starting out, but a little confused. I am just under 5'8", I am very commercial looking, but I have done a LOT of photo shoots and runway and I look very high fashion in those cases. My agent says I look Commercial when I walk in the door, but my photos are very high fashion, so she is going to market me as Commercial. Would you agree with this angle? Thanks so much!!! One of the first things I hear potential models ask is what the weight requirement for modeling is. Sometimes that is the main issue they worry about when it comes to pursuing modeling. Let me tell you right now that weight should NOT be one of those concerns. Obviously, the height requirement reigns supreme when measuring up to the modeling standards sought out by agencies. Modeling & Pay Rates: How Much Should You Charge?

(This post is more targeted towards freelance models and not those with agency representation, although it may apply to those that have an agent but continue to find their own work.) A part of being a successful model is making money from the jobs that you book. However, being a freelance model comes with many challenges--figuring out what you should charge is one of them. I will say upfront that there are no established black and white rules when it comes to pay rates. Each modeling job is different, each client is different and budgets vary. Ultimately the factors that should influence what you charge should be the amount of experience you have, the strength of the images in your portfolio and the client's budget/needs. (*Due to the number of comments and questions I get from aspiring models about working for VS, please be sure to read my post on this very carefully. If you don't meet all of these requirements then you cannot become a model for VS.
