Dania Denise Webinar Update #5: Progress!

Okay, okay, I know you're probably wondering with all these dang updates about the webinar, whether or not it's ever going to happen!

Work has been kicking my butt these past few weeks (what else is new?) but I did make significant progress by creating an outline, as well as fleshing it out more by expanding on the talking points I want to address during the webinar.

That may not sound like much progress to some of you but believe me, now that I have these pages of talking points to cover, it has helped motivate me even more to move towards completing these last steps needed to make the webinar official.

I have a few more pages of talking points to write down and once that's done, I'll be putting together some slideshow images and links to sites I plan on adding into the presentation so that webinar attendees can see what's happening on my screen in real time.

When that's taken care of, it'll just be a matter of choosing a Saturday and sending out the information for people to register for the event...slowly but surely, we're getting close, folks!

Modeling and Weight

One of the first things I hear potential models ask is what the weight requirement for modeling is. Sometimes that is the main issue they worry about when it comes to pursuing modeling. Let me tell you right now that weight should NOT be one of those concerns. Obviously, the height requirement reigns supreme when measuring up to the modeling standards sought out by agencies. (This post is more targeted towards freelance models and not those with agency representation, although it may apply to those that have an agent but continue to find their own work.) A part of being a successful model is making money from the jobs that you book. However, being a freelance model comes with many challenges--figuring out what you should charge is one of them. I will say upfront that there are no established black and white rules when it comes to pay rates. Each modeling job is different, each client is different and budgets vary.
